Chris “Condiment King” Douglass has attended each and every EverLAN event thus far. However, at the time of the first EverLAN, there was initially not a UT tournament. Therefore he took it upon himself to establish to the staff that there was indeed a large interest in Unreal Tournament in Colorado. Using his super powers to organize, coordinate and time a strike on the EverLAN site, he rallied all the Colorado UT players to show support and in the end established UT as a regular tournament at future EverLANs. CK has established himself as one of the top UT players in Colorado (and dabbling in other games), as well as in the online world. After taking home far more tournament prizes than most people should through EverLAN, CK was asked to join the staff for the Summer 04 EverLAN. For now there seems to be an abundance of prizes now for the rest of the attendee’s…

CK’s history of competitive gaming spans back about 5-6 years. Over x-mas break of his freshman year of college, old high school friends installed Unreal Tournament onto his computer… from that point on, there was a lot of gaming to be had. About a year later CK got into the competitive side of things and joined his first clan and developed enough be join m2 (Mulletmen). M2 proved to be a top3 TDM clan in North America holding #1 on multiple ladders simultaneously and placing in the top 3 in numerous tournaments online and on LAN. When EverLAN had Quake 3 tournaments, CK decided to enter them to dabble in a little fun and see if his FPS skills could carry over and compete well. Surely they did to a degree and he was able to quickly learn the style on LAN to compete with the players at EverLAN. However, CK never got into the online gaming of Q3. Following UT, UT2k3 came out, however that game was a bit of a disappointment to the community and CK didn’t play it too much. Battlefield 1942 perked his interest and again quickly rose to being a top player in that game as well. Currently UT2k4 and Battlefield Vietnam are taking CK’s game time up, and only time will tell how those will turn out.
Outside of gaming, CK attends school at the University of Colorado in Boulder and will be graduating in May 2004. He has a normal life that any other college student has with friends, partying, long walks on the beach, candle lit dinners, working, and other mischief. Soon he will be out of school and getting into the daily grind of the real world and settling down… maybe…
